Compensation is $0 per year. The Teaching Artist — Dance role is onsite at Bay Area schools, including programs in San Francisco, CA. Kid Stock’s in-school program helps students build storytelling skills and meet school curriculum standards in dance, music, and theater, culminating in a performance for family and friends. The artist teaches dance to classes from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade during the school day, helping students practice their parts in a school-wide end-of-semester performance. Availability is needed one to five days per week during the spring semester, with training ideally beginning in December or sooner.

What you'll do

• Teach dance at in-school programs during the school day
• rotate through classes from TK through eighth grade
• help students learn and practice their parts in the school-wide end-of-semester performance
• attend training before the spring semester as available.
