Vocational Trainer

The Vocational Trainer works onsite in Sewickley, PA, Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Compensation is not specified. The role works with one individual across adult training facility and residential settings. The trainer provides direct supervision and assistance with vocational duties while teaching life skills and social behaviors. The role contributes to individualized programming by implementing and documenting goals, coordinating with the support team, and advocating for the individual.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the team to develop training strategies for safety, pre-vocational, self-help, self-management, and leisure skills
• redirect and assist with daily vocational duties
• implement and document progress
• follow individualized goals and procedures
• coordinate daily and safety routines with the team
• work with Psychology if needed on individualized programs
• communicate with QIDP, PSS, and House Manager
• attend appointments and meetings with the individual
• advocate for the individual.
