Project IT Technician

Job overview

The Project IT Technician role is onsite in Akron, OH, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM; compensation is $18.75–$25.00 per hour. The role may involve travel to other corporate facilities, with mileage, tolls, and meals reimbursed and overnight stays arranged. Compucom Staffing provides IT staffing services and solutions. The technician prepares and configures workstations and supports desktop projects, including PC upgrades, site audits, and refreshes. The work helps client facilities deploy and maintain usable equipment through device reimaging, inventory, and upgrades.

What you'll do

• Prepare workstations for deployment
• reimage devices as needed
• configure PCs, workstations, and monitors
• and travel to remote facilities to complete inventory and upgrades. Primary projects include PC upgrades at a distribution control center, site audits and PC refreshes, and other desktop-related projects.
