Crossing Guard

The Crossing Guard role is an onsite position located in Clarendon Hills, IL. Compensation is not specified for this contract role, which supports the field operations team at Andy Frain Services. This role exists to maintain control of children and vehicular traffic at designated crossing sites to ensure that children cross safely. The guard observes traffic, reports infractions, and provides a professional presence to promote safety in the community.

What you'll do

• Directs actions of children at street intersections to ensure safe crossing.
• Record license numbers of vehicles disregarding traffic signals and report infractions to the police.
• Observe vehicles and pedestrians in the area of school crosswalks to report suspicious vehicles or activity.
• Notification of uncooperative or abusive child.
• Follows all safety regulations, policies and procedures.
• Reports all unsafe conditions to the field supervisor immediately.
• Take personal responsibility to provide exceptional customer service in order to promote and maintain a positive image.
