It contributes to discoverable, performant healthcare data access through architecture decisions, data modeling, infrastructure automation, and collaboration with stakeholders and engineering partners.

What you'll do

• Lead healthcare data platform modernization
• evaluate AWS data strategies and storage/query options
• design a reporting and query layer for business users
• architect migration of XML object-store data from Microsoft SQL Server to AWS
• build and maintain data catalogs, schemas, and metadata
• optimize query performance and cost
• translate stakeholder reporting needs into data models and query patterns
• collaborate with a C#/.NET engineer on EDI data flows
• maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native tools
• apply infrastructure-as-code practices
• document architecture, data flows, and data dictionaries.
