Certified Medical Assistant (Float) — Hoboken and Jersey City

The Certified Medical Assistant (Float) role is onsite in Hoboken, New Jersey, and floats to the Jersey City, New Jersey office. It is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with eight-hour shifts generally scheduled Monday–Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Pay is $25.75–$27.75 per hour. One Medical provides primary care and in-office and virtual services. The assistant supports patients’ care journeys through venipuncture, other clinical services, patient intake, and front-desk support. Accurate specimen handling and coordination with providers and the care team help deliver a smooth in-office experience.

What you'll do

• Provide venipuncture and other specimen collection
• assist with EKGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• support patient intake, scheduling, billing and insurance knowledge, and follow-up
• label, handle, and process specimens
• maintain inventory and sterilize tools
• assist with patient messages, lab follow-up, clerical duties, check-in and check-out, insurance verification, and office upkeep
• use the organization’s technology and electronic medical record systems.
