The Paramedic role is onsite in Herlong, CA, with a schedule of 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 4–5 days and 40 hours per week. Pay is $23.73–$29.15 per hour. The position supports Health Services clinical staff in patient care. The Paramedic evaluates and treats patients under clinical direction, supports triage and chronic care clinics, performs specified tests and procedures, and maintains accurate electronic medical records. The work helps clinicians coordinate care, monitor patient conditions, and maintain department operations.

What you'll do

• Evaluate patients and provide ordered therapeutic treatment
• triage sick-call requests
• administer prescribed medications and immunizing agents
• perform skin testing, venipuncture, and intravenous fluid administration or withdrawal
• record histories, test results, vital signs, and care in BEMR
• assist with chronic care clinics, patient flow, and scheduling
• operate EKG and CLIA-waived laboratory equipment
• provide basic first aid, CPR, and preventive care guidance.
