The Registered Nurse (RN), Oncology role is onsite in Gilbert, AZ. Pay is $2,041–$2,106 per week. The role provides specialized nursing care to patients receiving cancer and other hematologic or oncologic treatment. The nurse assesses and monitors patients, administers prescribed therapies, manages symptoms and complications, and coordinates care with the multidisciplinary team. Patient and family education and accurate clinical documentation support safe, coordinated treatment throughout the care process.

What you'll do

• Assess and monitor oncology patients for changes in condition, treatment response, and complications. Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other prescribed treatments according to protocols. Monitor for adverse reactions, infection, bleeding, pain, and other complications
• provide symptom management and supportive care
• educate patients and families
• collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• and maintain clinical documentation and follow infection-control, patient-safety, and oncology-care standards.

Why this role

Requires an active Registered Nurse license and BLS certification. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Oncology, hematology, or acute-care experience and chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or other cancer-treatment experience are preferred; ACLS is required or preferred based on patient population, and ONS/ONCC certification is preferred.
