What you'll do

• Stand outside an assigned store and ring a bell for charitable donations
• serve as a friendly and positive representative of The Salvation Army
• guard the Red Kettle within reason
• greet and interact with store patrons
• dress appropriately for weather
• relieve the previous volunteer or worker promptly
• and follow Salvation Army and partner-business policies. Must complete kettle worker training, pass Alaska background screening, be at least 17, and be able to stand or sit on concrete and withstand cold or freezing temperatures for up to eight hours.
