Project and Commercial Manager

The Project and Commercial Manager role is based in Sacramento, CA. The annual salary range is $115,000–$125,000. The role supports Arup’s Program, Project and Commercial Management team, which advises clients and delivers project management commissions and multidisciplinary design projects. The manager takes responsibility for defined projects and workstreams across project management, commercial management, and project controls. By coordinating teams, governance, reporting, finances, schedules, and risks, the role helps clients and project teams plan and deliver projects from inception through completion.

What you'll do

• Manage project or workstream planning and delivery throughout the lifecycle
• oversee assigned scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
• coordinate project teams, stakeholders, consultants, and technical disciplines
• facilitate governance activities, workshops, and meetings
• prepare plans, reports, dashboards, and presentations
• maintain action, decision, and risk registers
• manage financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
• coordinate project controls and schedule reviews
• administer defined commercial, contract, change, and risk processes
• identify and escalate issues
• contribute to proposals and business development
• and guide junior team members where appropriate.
