Director of Operations / Plant Manager

The Director of Operations / Plant Manager role is fully onsite in Haverhill, MA. Compensation is $140,000–$175,000 per year. The role leads Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods’ fast-paced, 24/7 food manufacturing operation. The plant leader is accountable for operational performance across production, quality, food safety, maintenance, warehousing, planning, productivity, cost control, and employee development. The role drives measurable improvement, develops managers and supervisors, and aligns plant capabilities with customer needs and business goals.

What you'll do

• Lead plant operations and results across all shifts
• develop and hold managers and supervisors accountable
• establish KPIs for production, productivity, labor efficiency, yield, waste, downtime, quality, safety, service, and cost
• drive continuous improvement
• oversee capacity and production planning
• prepare contingency plans
• evaluate operating costs and resource use
• partner with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehousing, HR, R&D, Sales, and Marketing
• maintain OSHA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food-safety compliance
• support audits and corrective actions
• report plant performance
• develop employees and succession opportunities.
