CDL Driver – Construction Materials and Equipment

The CDL Driver – Construction Materials and Equipment role is onsite in Garland, TX; compensation is not specified. Boardwalk Paving & Construction seeks a driver to support construction operations with timely, secure deliveries to and from job sites and yards. The driver operates commercial vehicles, secures and transports materials and equipment, and completes inspections and delivery records. The role also includes loading and unloading, reporting safety or mechanical concerns, and assisting crews with site tasks when needed.

What you'll do

• Operate dump trucks, flatbeds, lowboys, or trailers to transport materials and equipment
• load and unload safely
• perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and trip documentation
• follow dispatch instructions and delivery schedules
• secure loads
• comply with DOT and other transportation regulations
• assist crews with labor or site tasks as needed
• report mechanical issues, delays, and safety concerns
• maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Why this role
