What you'll do

• Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors
• lead bid preparation
• analyze costs and value-engineering options
• assess risks and contingencies
• evaluate and negotiate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• use estimating and digital takeoff software
• maintain bid records and reports
• coordinate with project managers, engineers, and junior estimators
• mentor less experienced estimators.
