The Mental Health Therapist (LCPC/LCSW-C/LCADC) role is onsite in Parkville, MD, at a structured juvenile detention facility. Compensation is $60,000–$75,000 annually. Innovative Therapeutic Services is expanding behavioral health services in Maryland Department of Juvenile Services centers to increase access to care for justice-involved youth. The role exists to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to youth and young adults, including assessment, therapy, crisis intervention, family engagement, treatment planning, and documentation. The therapist collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and detention personnel to support client care.

What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of approximately 8–12 youth
• provide biweekly individual therapy, group therapy, and family engagement sessions
• facilitate weekly psychoeducational groups
• conduct screenings and assessments
• provide crisis intervention
• complete clinical documentation
• participate in multidisciplinary meetings and treatment planning
• collaborate with behavioral health staff, detention personnel, and community partners.
