Activity Aide

The Activity Aide helps residents maintain physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual well-being by supporting individualized and group activities, engagement, and person-centered care.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning and running daily activities, games, crafts, exercise programs, events, and outings
• provide individual visits
• encourage resident participation and choice
• transport residents within the facility
• maintain activity supplies and program areas
• observe residents and share relevant information with clinical staff
• document participation
• collaborate across departments
• follow facility safety, infection-control, and resident-rights policies.

Why this role

No prior activity experience is required; the facility provides training and support. High school diploma or GED preferred. Nursing Assistant certification must be obtained through a future onsite training class if not already certified.
