The Teller role is an onsite, full-time position in New Bedford, MA. Compensation is $17.50–$18.50 per hour. The position is part of New Bedford Credit Union’s Retail Services Team. The teller provides accurate and courteous cash receipt and payment services, responds to member needs, and directs questions or concerns to the appropriate person. The role also supports member relationships by identifying needs and explaining relevant credit union products and services.

What you'll do

• Maintain and settle the cash drawer
• answer member telephone inquiries as needed
• verify checks and cash
• apply check holds according to policy and regulations
• process money orders, cash advances, and mail payments
• provide member service
• assess member needs and cross-sell services
• follow security procedures
• comply with Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements and report suspicious activity.
