What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care
• perform nursing assessments within scope
• implement individualized plans of care
• administer ordered medications and treatments
• monitor patient status and report changes
• collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary professionals
• educate patients and families
• maintain electronic medical records
• follow agency policies and applicable regulations
• participate in quality improvement. Depending on patient needs and scope, skilled care may include tracheostomy care, ventilator management, suctioning, enteral feeding, TPN, peritoneal dialysis, central-line care, IV therapy, wound care, ostomy care, and seizure management.
