Direct Support Professional / Caregiver – Short Shifts

The Direct Support Professional / Caregiver role is onsite in Tacoma, WA, with pay of $25 per hour. Vibrant Health Homecare supports seniors and people with disabilities in pursuing personal goals and living life to the fullest. Available schedules include variable fill-in shifts and short shifts: 8 a.m.–12 p.m., 1–5 p.m., and 9 a.m.–3 p.m. The caregiver provides practical and personal support that helps clients pursue goals and independence. The role includes companionship, daily care, meal support, medication reminders, transportation, and access to community resources.

What you'll do

• Support clients with tasks and personal goals
• provide companionship and conversation
• assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding
• plan and prepare meals with or for clients
• ensure scheduled medications have been taken
• transport clients to appointments
• support access to community resources.
