The R&D Manager, Skin Care, SPF, Body Care & Hair Care role is onsite in Eagan, MN, with pay of $115,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience. The personal care contract manufacturer and formulation lab is expanding its research and development team to support product and process development for client brands. The manager leads the multidisciplinary R&D team and directs formulation development, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives. The role also supports regulatory compliance, project delivery, technical collaboration, and team development.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and manage the R&D team
• develop and execute R&D strategy
• oversee multiple product and process development projects
• initiate formulations, process improvements, and cost-saving projects
• advise formulation chemists
• evaluate ingredients, processes, and technologies
• support regulatory compliance, registrations, claims substantiation, and certifications
• collaborate with internal teams and clients
• maintain project plans, documentation, and testing records
• use statistical analysis and structured problem-solving.
