What you'll do

• Receive and unload samples or consignments under DOT regulations
• verify receipts against chain-of-custody records and resolve discrepancies
• log samples in the lab management system
• label and deliver samples to laboratories
• prepare bottle kits for clients
• forward samples to other laboratories as needed
• dispose of spent samples and potentially hazardous materials according to procedures
• monitor freezer and cooler temperatures
• maintain department cleanliness and supplies
• track outgoing coolers and ship empty coolers.
