What you'll do

• Supervise nursing personnel and day-to-day nursing activities on the assigned shift
• assign work, support performance management, and train staff
• oversee medication, IV infusions, catheter care, wounds, and other clinical procedures
• coordinate intake and discharge planning
• communicate with multidisciplinary teams
• monitor staff competencies and shift coverage
• investigate patient safety or infection-control incidents and implement corrective actions.
