Reference Standards Packager

Job overview

The Reference Standards Packager role is onsite in Bellefonte, PA, with a full-time, 40-hour schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; overtime may be available. Compensation is not specified. Restek’s Reference Standards team produces high-purity certified materials used by scientists and laboratories worldwide. The role prepares and packages products to meet quality and regulatory standards. Accurate filling, sealing, labeling, inspection, recordkeeping, and safe handling help protect product integrity and support reliable production and shipment.

What you'll do

• Package, label, seal, and prepare finished goods for shipment or storage according to work instructions and SOPs
• fill and flame-seal ampules
• safely operate and maintain basic packaging equipment
• inspect products and materials for defects
• assist with inventory movement and supply management
• maintain production and packaging records
• flag discrepancies and data concerns
• handle chemicals and equipment safely using Safety Data Sheets as needed
• follow EHS policies and regulatory requirements
• promptly report equipment malfunctions, product concerns, and safety hazards.
