B- and C-Level Automotive Technicians

Job overview

The B- and C-Level Automotive Technicians role is onsite in Batavia, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. B-level pay is $35–$45 per hour; C-level pay is $20–$25 per hour. The technicians work at S & C Automotive, a locally owned repair shop serving Batavia. Technicians diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair light-duty vehicles, including fleet and domestic vehicles. The role supports a steady repair workflow, with technicians focused on diagnostics and repairs rather than parts ordering or estimate preparation.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair light-duty vehicles
• perform engine and transmission repairs and replacements
• complete general maintenance and mechanical repairs
• diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
• inspect vehicles
• perform Post Office fleet and domestic vehicle repairs
• perform European vehicle maintenance as assigned
• complete flat-work repairs and maintenance. B-level technicians need five or more years of automotive repair experience
• C-level technicians need three or more years. ASE certifications are preferred.
