Senior Estimator — Commercial Construction

The Senior Estimator role is an in-office position in Atlanta, Georgia, with occasional local site travel. Base salary is $160,000–$200,000 per year. PeopleLift is recruiting for a leading general contractor in the Atlanta market. The estimator leads preconstruction estimating for large commercial projects, developing accurate and competitive estimates and coordinating with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.

What you'll do

• Lead estimating for large commercial projects
• prepare conceptual and schematic estimates
• review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids
• develop bid strategies and solicitation lists
• conduct constructability reviews and value engineering
• prepare estimate summaries and presentations
• mentor junior estimators
• coordinate job cost budgets with operations.
