Personal Care Attendant / Caregiver (PCA)

The Personal Care Attendant / Caregiver (PCA) role is onsite in members’ homes in Santa Fe, NM. Compensation is not specified. The position provides non-medical assistance intended to support members’ quality of life and independence. The PCA follows each member’s approved Individual Plan of Care and schedule, provides assistance with daily activities, and records visits through an electronic visit verification system. The role also completes required training and screening.

What you'll do

• Assist with mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, incontinence care, light housekeeping, laundry, companionship, cognitive assistance, and errands
• follow the member’s schedule and approved Individual Plan of Care
• use electronic visit verification at the start and completion of each visit
• complete state-mandated training and background screening
• meet additional member-specific requirements when applicable.
