What you'll do

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct facility social service programs
• review daily work assignments for regulatory compliance and staffing
• interview residents or family members to obtain social histories
• explain Medicare, Medicaid, and other financial assistance programs
• refer residents and families to appropriate agencies
• maintain community referral resources
• interpret policies and procedures
• monitor regulations and professional standards
• recommend policy and procedure changes to the Administrator
• manage and develop department staff.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field and a current state license to practice as a Social Services Professional. A Master of Social Work or related degree is preferred.
