What you'll do

• Design fire alarm, fire suppression, and passive fire protection systems
• perform building and life safety code analyses and fire suppression calculations
• coordinate systems with other disciplines
• prepare reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings using Microsoft software, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software
• participate in design reviews
• travel to project locations for site information
• review shop and installation drawings
• participate in construction administration
• mentor junior engineers.
