What you'll do

• Advise religious education directors, OCIA leaders, and catechists
• update curriculum standards and develop guidance for religious education and sacraments
• research catechetical materials and serve as diocesan liaison for parish OCIA programs
• oversee the Circle of Grace curriculum
• deliver talks and coordinate speakers or conferences
• mentor parish formation staff
• organize meetings, retreats, and catechetical initiatives
• support Catholic Schools faith initiatives
• review relevant Church documents
• create event surveys
• prepare and manage the Catechesis division budget.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in theology or a related field, two or more years of active parish ministry, and two or more years of project management experience. A master’s degree is preferred. Evening and weekend work and travel to off-site events may be required occasionally; Spanish fluency is preferred.
