Purchasing and Procurement Agent

The Purchasing and Procurement Agent role is an in-person position based in New Orleans, LA, with a salary range of $60,000–$70,000 per year. Downtown FabWorks provides custom scenic and architectural fabrication for entertainment, events, exhibits, and architectural projects. The agent leads purchasing and vendor management, helping project teams source materials, secure value, coordinate deliveries, and keep procurement aligned with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.

What you'll do

• Build supplier relationships and resolve shortages or defective materials
• research vendors
• evaluate quotes, product quality, pricing, and lead times
• negotiate pricing and payment terms
• coordinate deliveries
• maintain preferred vendor and purchasing records
• manage purchasing projections
• coordinate inventory levels and material pricing with craft, estimation, and project management teams.
