Regional Nurse Consultant

The Regional Nurse Consultant role is an in-person position with significant onsite presence, based in Belleville, IL, and requires regular travel within the assigned region of up to 75%. Pay is $125,000–$135,000 per year. Evercare’s regional nursing support serves assigned skilled nursing facilities. The consultant provides clinical leadership and oversight to support high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to nursing standards and resident rights. The role audits clinical records and practices, educates and supports nursing staff, and helps facilities implement policies and address care and compliance issues.

What you'll do

• Ensure assigned facilities comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations
• interpret and reinforce clinical standards
• conduct quarterly clinical audits
• participate in care conferences as requested or clinically indicated
• perform resident assessments as needed
• provide clinical education and training
• review eMAR and medication-room compliance
• conduct monthly supervisory visits to medication passers in states allowing RN delegation
• monitor wound care and medical supply use
• review incident reports
• assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision as needed
• address complaints and support resolution.
