The Cook – Nutrition Service Provider II role is onsite in Stoughton, WI, at 315 Mandt Parkway. Pay is $16.81 per hour. The role supports Reach Dane’s early childhood programs by providing nutrition for children and supporting their growth and development. The cook prepares daily meals and snacks for children ages 0–5, manages food preparation, service, and cleanup at the assigned site, and follows sanitation rules, agency menu cycles, and Head Start requirements. The role also supports culturally diverse menus, recipe scaling, inventory, and compliance tracking.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu-specified scratch-cooking recipes and daily breakfast, snacks, and lunch for children ages 0–5
• manage food preparation, service, and cleanup at the assigned site
• maintain sanitation and follow state and federal food-service regulations
• follow agency menu cycles and Head Start compliance guidelines
• scale recipes and portion food appropriately
• prepare culturally diverse foods
• use computer systems for menu planning, inventory, and compliance tracking
• build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
