Assistant Controller, Foundry Finance

The Assistant Controller role is onsite in Libertyville, IL, and compensation is $90,000–$100,000 per year. The role oversees accounting, financial reporting, and treasury management for the Ahead Foundry facility. It supports accurate financial statements and balances, budgeting and forecasting, asset controls, audits, and cash management so Foundry and company leaders can make informed financial decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead month-end close activities, review journal entries, analyze variances, reconcile balance sheets, prepare audit schedules, and distribute Foundry financial statements
• partner with leadership on revenue, cost of sales, and inventory accuracy
• support profitability analysis, forecasting, and budgets
• maintain controls over inventory and other onsite assets
• lead the annual audit
• manage Foundry treasury and participate in weekly cash forecasting
• review AR allowance adequacy and recommend write-offs
• complete special projects.
