Staff Accountant

The role helps maintain accurate, timely financial information by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, audits, budget information, and payroll tax filings, while supporting reporting requirements and other departments.

What you'll do

• Prepare journal entries, allocations, and financial statement reporting
• reconcile account balances
• produce variance reports and respond to questions
• perform agreed audits
• meet agency, federal, state, and county reporting requirements
• provide financial information to other departments
• develop and distribute budget information
• prepare payroll tax filings
• complete special projects.
