Medical Biller — Claims Coordinator / Processor

What you'll do

• Review and transmit medical claims through the practice EHR system and clearinghouse
• monitor rejected claim reports and adjust claims for resubmission
• download and post insurance explanations of payment and denials
• determine whether denied claims can be corrected
• research aging balances and resubmit within filing limits
• investigate claim status with carriers
• monitor patient billing statements and portal payments
• initiate required refunds or repayments
• and serve as the practice contact for vision and medical claims.
