The Cook role is onsite in Johnson City, NY, at Susquehanna Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. Pay is $17 per hour. The position prepares meals for residents in a long-term care nursing facility. The role supports consistent, appealing meals for residents and may manage the kitchen when the Food Service Director is absent.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes
• portion and serve meals or prepare them for delivery
• check food quality and temperature
• clean the kitchen and store or discard excess food using safe food-handling procedures
• manage the kitchen in the Food Service Director’s absence
• perform other job-related duties as required.
