The Toddler and Preschool Teacher / Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Portola Valley, CA. Pay is $20–$40 per hour, based on education and experience. The position supports Sharmila Montessori House of Children’s Montessori learning community for toddlers and preschool-age children. The role exists to help children learn through exploration, independence, and hands-on experiences. Depending on the opening, the educator teaches toddlers or preschoolers, assists in the classroom, or provides classroom support while working with children and the teaching team.

• Support toddler or preschool classrooms
• assist with children’s learning and classroom activities
• work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• create engaging experiences for young children
• follow childcare licensing requirements and maintain required safety clearances and certifications.
