Client Transportation Driver — Per Diem

The Client Transportation Driver role is onsite in Canaan, CT, on a per-diem, as-needed schedule. Pay is $18–$21 per hour. The driver supports Mountainside Treatment Center, a behavioral healthcare provider treating alcohol dependency and drug addiction. The role provides safe, reliable transportation for prospective and current clients while helping maintain a respectful and supportive treatment experience. Drivers coordinate with Client Services, follow safety procedures, and use calm communication and de-escalation skills when clients are distressed.

What you'll do

• Transport clients to and from Mountainside locations, appointments, activities, and approved destinations
• operate company vehicles safely
• complete vehicle checks and report concerns
• communicate professionally while maintaining boundaries and confidentiality
• respond appropriately to distress using de-escalation techniques
• coordinate transportation with Client Services
• document trips and incidents
• maintain vehicle cleanliness.
