The Multilingual Learner LEARN Works Instructor is an in-person, part-time seasonal role in the 28035, NC listing area. The role supports the Ada Jenkins Center’s LEARN Works Afterschool Academic & Enrichment Program. The instructor supports elementary multilingual learners’ English development, reading progress, academic enrichment, and social skills. Through explicit instruction, classroom supervision, progress monitoring, and collaboration with families and volunteers, the role helps maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

What you'll do

• Create and deliver English language development and reading lessons using program curriculum and resources
• coach students individually and in groups
• monitor progress and provide feedback to students and parents
• coordinate enrichment activities and assessments
• maintain classroom routines and apply the Love and Logic philosophy
• complete lesson plans and student records
• communicate with parents and supervise classroom volunteers.
