What you'll do

• Provide nursing care throughout GI procedures
• assess patients and document findings in Epic
• prepare patients for colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, and other GI interventions
• monitor patients and administer ordered medications
• provide recovery care, education, and discharge instructions
• collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary staff
• respond to emergencies and condition changes
• maintain endoscopy equipment and follow infection-prevention protocols.
