What you'll do

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens
• label, document, handle, and transport specimens
• maintain chain of custody when required
• collect and process urine specimens and drug screens
• deliver specimens for storage and processing
• communicate with providers and back-office staff
• follow safety, infection-prevention, confidentiality, and specimen-handling procedures
• assist with clinical and administrative duties as needed.
