The Youth Care Professional – 2nd Shift role is onsite in Eugene, OR, with compensation of $23.00+ per hour. Nexus Family Healing is opening a 14-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility in Eugene to serve youth ages 12–17 with acute emotional concerns and serious and persistent mental illness. The professional supports residents’ therapeutic plans through daily guidance, supervision, mentorship, and collaboration with coworkers. The role helps maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment and reinforces treatment goals in partnership with residents’ families and support networks.

What you'll do

• Guide residents in daily living activities
• supervise and mentor residents according to established procedures
• work with coworkers to implement treatment plans and therapeutic services
• adapt interactions to client phases, privileges, and restrictions
• maintain a positive, respectful, clean, and therapeutic environment
• engage families and support networks
• participate in off-campus activities and assist with transportation to home visits, appointments, and recreation.
