Team Leader – In-Home Caregiver

The Team Leader – In-Home Caregiver role is onsite in Boise, ID; pay is $15–$17 per hour. HAS, LLC, a division of Caregiver, Inc., provides residential habilitation and supported living services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The team leader oversees the quality of care and daily activity in an assigned home, supports and trains staff, and coordinates participant needs with the regional scheduler, nurse, and QIDP.

What you'll do

• Oversee activity in the assigned home and lead its team members
• check daily charting, including medication administration records, activities of daily living, goals, and client time
• respond to 24/7 on-call behavioral calls, provide de-escalation or crisis intervention, and fill home shifts when required
• resolve scheduling issues
• notify the nurse of medication discrepancies
• coordinate behavioral and medical needs with the QIDP and regional nurse
• maintain house binders
• communicate employee concerns to management
• create chore charts, menus, and activity schedules
• and assist clients with shopping.
