CNC Laser Cutter Technician

The work contributes to production by handling programs and materials, checking first articles and finished cuts, and staging parts for the next manufacturing step.

What you'll do

• Set up CNC flat lasers for different materials and thicknesses
• operate machines and monitor for burrs or edge defects
• read engineering blueprints and dimensional tolerances
• upload digital cut files
• inspect first articles with calipers and tape measures
• handle sheet materials with forklifts, cranes, or suction lifters
• label and stage finished parts
• perform routine preventive maintenance.
