Safety and Compliance Coordinator

Job overview

The Safety and Compliance Coordinator works onsite at NGL Transportation’s terminal in Mobile, AL, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $19.13–$22.00 per hour. The role supports trucking operations and driver safety compliance. The coordinator monitors driver Hours of Service compliance, maintains inspection and maintenance records, supports driver onboarding and safety training, and helps manage accident documentation and compliance with FMCSA and company policies.

What you'll do

• Monitor drivers’ Hours of Service compliance daily
• manage DOT inspections and truck and chassis inspection records
• schedule and track preventive maintenance and annual inspections
• support driver recruiting and onboarding
• update safety and compliance records
• document driver warnings and disciplinary actions
• assist dispatch with driver issues
• manage accident reports and follow-up investigations
• conduct quarterly safety meetings and training.
