Purchasing Agent I — First Shift

The Purchasing Agent I role is onsite in Chatsworth, CA, with a stated hourly range of $20.00–$35.00. The position supports Fralock’s manufacturing operations by coordinating materials and supplier deliveries needed to meet production schedules and customer commitments. The role manages and expedites purchase orders, resolves material shortages with suppliers and internal teams, maintains delivery commitments and inventory records, and supports receiving and transportation between facilities and local suppliers. These activities help keep production operations supplied and uninterrupted.

What you'll do

• Manage and expedite open purchase orders, critical materials, and supplier commitments
• work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages and schedule conflicts
• maintain ERP/MRP delivery commitments and prepare expedite reports
• receive and process incoming materials
• resolve receiving discrepancies
• support inventory accuracy, cycle counts, audits, and stockroom organization
• transport materials between facilities and local suppliers
• support urgent pickups and deliveries
• follow safety procedures.
