Charleston Collegiate School is an independent, co-educational, non-sectarian Preschool through 12th grade school that seeks to recognize, nurture, and challenge students. The teacher supervises children during aftercare, supports developmentally appropriate activities, and encourages independence and respectful interaction. The role helps provide a safe, inclusive environment for lower and middle school students after the school day.

What you'll do

• Communicate with children, parents, and staff
• help children explore interests and learn appropriate interaction
• serve children without bias and encourage independence
• monitor and care for children during free play
• lead small- or large-group activities.
