Production Shift Manager

Job overview

The Production Shift Manager role is onsite in Freedom, PA; compensation is not specified. The manager oversees workflow in the Production department and coordinates staffing and machine operations to meet production schedules. This role exists to keep client jobs on schedule and within quality standards by adjusting priorities, coaching employees, checking safety and quality, and managing daily production operations.

What you'll do

• Coordinate staffing and machine operation
• adapt workflow to schedule changes
• coach employees on safety, quality, and efficiency
• perform quality and safety checks
• schedule and document maintenance
• troubleshoot machines or coordinate with maintenance
• maintain department cleanliness
• review timesheets
• supervise and develop team members
• perform Machine Operator duties when needed.
