What you'll do

• Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
• manage building layout and dimensional control
• prepare and execute daily work plans
• communicate deadline changes to the Foreman and Superintendent
• coordinate with subcontractors
• assist fellow carpenters
• coordinate material orders with the Superintendent
• evaluate cabinet, door, window, and shop-drawing details
• mentor carpenters, apprentices, and laborers
• identify and report unsafe practices.
