What you'll do

• Assist with planning, organizing, developing, and directing nursing services
• initiate and update resident plans of care
• notify physicians and representatives about critical illness, injury, or significant changes
• evaluate emergencies
• support incident documentation and investigations
• start and monitor ordered IV medication
• assist with nursing procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• complete or assist with assessments and documentation
• make resident rounds
• supervise and direct nursing personnel
• participate in staff meetings and in-service classes
• protect resident rights.
