Produce Inspector (Day Shift)

The Produce Inspector is an onsite role located in St. Louis, MO, with a pay range of $18.00 - $28.00 per hour. This role exists to inspect inbound loads, verify purchase order quantities, and monitor inventory rotation. What you'll do

• Communicate daily with buyers and warehouse manager on perishable item issues.
• Inspect and verify Purchase Order quantities for inbound loads.
• Inspect inbound trucks for pests.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Document temperatures of inbound loads.
• Responsible for proper rotation of produce inventory.
• Perform daily quality inspections.
• Perform daily date checks.
• Complete dump and damage reports.
